Netanyahu: Fence to be Built on Israel-Egypt Border

By IsraelNationalNews.com

Prime Minister Netanyahu decided to build a fence along Israel's border with the Sinai Peninsula which is under Egyptian control. The fence is intended to close off Israel's southern border to infiltration by terrorists and illegal immigrants.

Hundreds of illegal immigrants and drug smugglers have been entering Israel over the past few months causing demographic and security concerns. The barrier's cost is estimated at approximately 1 billion shekels.

McCain, Lieberman: Congress will Not Freeze Aid to Israel

By IsraelNationalNews.com & VOA News

Four U.S. senators, including White House hopefuls John McCain, a Republican from Arizona, and Joe Lieberman, an Independent from Connecticut, vowed during a visit to Israel Sunday that Congress would not approve cutting loan guarantees to the Jewish State.

They were reacting to U.S. Middle East envoy George Mitchell, who proposed the option during an interview with American TV journalist Charlie Rose. Mitchell later denied that he made a threat or an "implied threat" although a transcript of the interview states, "Under American law, the United States can withhold support on loan guarantees to Israel. President George W. Bush did so...on one occasion... That's one mechanism that's been publicly discussed."

Republican Senators John Barrasso of Wyoming and John Thune of South Dakota agreed with McCain and Lieberman that "any attempt to force Israel to negotiate by denying Israel's support will not pass the U.S. Congress." All four senators are wrapping up a trip that has taken them to Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Lebanon and Israel.

McCain and Lieberman also visited the Western Wall (Kotel), where they were hosted by Western Wall Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz. They reminded Rabinowitz of their visit to the Wall and the Western Wall Tunnels a year ago. McCain said he learned then of the deep bonds linking the Jewish People with the holy site. The rabbi showed them the most recent archaeological finds in the area.

Defense Minister Ehud Barak met with all four of the visiting senators in Jerusalem earlier in the day. "I am happy to meet with these Senate leaders and old friends of Israel who have proven their support at difficult moments," Barak said. "I am confident that Israel will continue to enjoy their support in all situations in the future."

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said that the Palestinians have refused to resume peace talks despite Israeli concessions. The Palestinians have demanded a complete freeze on settlement expansion before returning to negotiations and reject Israel's offer of a partial freeze.

At the weekly Cabinet meeting in Jerusalem, Netanyahu also accused the western-backed Palestinian Authority of incitement. He condemned recent statements by Palestinian leaders who praised militants involved in deadly attacks on Israelis and who described them as "martyrs."

"This is not how you make peace," Netanyahu said. He demanded the Palestinians end incitement as required under the "Roadmap" peace plan. Netanyahu also addressed an upsurge in violence in the Gaza Strip, which is ruled by the Islamic terrorist group Hamas. Last week, Palestinians stepped up mortar and rocket attacks, and Israel responded with air strikes. "The policy of the Israeli government is clear," Netanyahu said: Israel will respond with "immediate force" to any Palestinian attack.

Fanning the Flames

By Ed Ziegler (Commentary)

Our enemies, the fanatic Islamists, the Jihadists, or whatever you prefer to call themselves, openly declare war on us on a daily basis. This article will show another very powerful tool they use daily. A tool that is far more powerful than a gun or bomb. You may never hear about this tool that they use many times a day.

Across the world you hear from their media, from their leaders and Imams (religious leaders), very effectively using the war of words to brain wash their followers to wage war against their enemies Americans, Christians, Hindus, Jews all infidels. In short anyone who is not a Muslim is an enemy.

Hizbullah Secretary-General Nasrallah stated, "The U.S. Is a Beast, One Bite by Our Nation and Israel Is gone." His audience responded with "Death to America." Nasrallah also said "They tell us that America is a civilized country. Blessed be Imam Khomeini for calling it `the Great Satan.' Throughout the history of the human race, there has never been a country, a leadership, or an- elite as barbaric as they are in the USA. You could not find an-elite as hostile to the human race as the elite of the USA." Again the crowd yelled "Death to America."

Qari Hifzur Rehamn, a Pakistani cleric, told the newspaper "The Sun" of imposing Islamic laws of stoning and beheading in Britain. He stated "We want Islamic law for all Pakistan and the world. We would like to do this by preaching. But, if not, then we would use force."

On Jan. 1, 2006 Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, an Islamist and an Al-Qaeda leader in Iraq, said "Killing the infidels is our religion, slaughtering them is our religion, until they convert to Islam or pay us tribute."

On April 15, 2008 another Islamic cleric said "We will conquer two Americas and Europe. Allah has chosen you for Himself and for His religion, so that you will serve as the engine pulling this nation to the phase of succession, security, and consolidation of power, and even to conquests thorough da'wa and military conquests of the capitals of the entire world."

The three messages above are consistent and clear. Their way or else you die. In early 2009, a Syrian government paper's article stated that the Jews sucked the blood from Jesus' wounds during His crucifixion, and called for the Arabs, Muslims, and Christians to unite to defeat them. In the second article, Mustafa Antaki called the Jews "blood-letters," and accused them of sucking the blood and consuming the resources of "the peoples."

On May 10, 2009 The Jordan Al-Moheed Arab News Network reported that "pigs in our time have their origins in Jews who angered Allah... and it is obligatory to kill and slaughter them."

On Jan. 3, 2010 the "Daily Mail" reported that Abdullah el-Faisal, an Islamic cleric, was arrested by anti-terror police in Kenya for preaching in a Mombassa mosque. Previously this fanatical Muslim cleric was jailed in Britain, in 2003, after being convicted of incitement to murder and stirring racial hatred by urging followers to kill Hindus, Jews and Americans.

On Jan. 4, 2010 CNN Broadcast reported that Hamas produced a cartoon video, as might be expected, depicting Israelis in a very negative light. The video has a Jewish settler on a killing spree. According to the settler's father "the most delicious thing is to kill Palestinians and drink their blood." Although the ranting of these Islamic fanatics is a distortion of the truth their words are influencing many Muslims to blindly hate the infidels (non-Muslims).

According to their message everyone who is not a Muslim is in danger. Jews, Hindus, Christians and particularly, the Great Satan, non-Muslim Americans. It is up to you to become active. Share your opinion with your elected officials when you read or hear of terrorist type actions. An informative site is actforamerica.org.
