Michigan Notices: 'Kill Christians and Jews'

By IsraelNationalNews.com

Fliers bearing the message "Kill Jews and Christians if they don't believe in Allah and Mohammed" were distributed on Michigan cars, according to the Macomb, Mich. daily. The fliers advised people to "fight those who do not believe." Michigan hosts a large Muslim population.

"I really don't know what it means other than suggesting violence to Jews and Christians," Detective Sgt. Paul Jesperson said. "We certainly have no intentions of stifling someone's religious beliefs but it is most certainly a violation of the law if you're condoning violence with this hate literature."

Israel Postpones Release of Palestinian Prisoners

By VOA News

Israeli officials have postponed the release of about 30 Palestinian prisoners who were set to be freed into Gaza on Monday. Jailers were to bring the prisoners to the Erez crossing, to Gaza, but instead they are holding the detainees at a desert prison.

Israeli officials said President Shimon Peres must sign the prisoners' pardons before they can be released from custody. No explanation was given for the delay in authorizing the pardons. But, Israel did free 57 other Palestinian prisoners to the West Bank on Monday.

In total, nearly 90 detained members of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah faction were processed for release on Monday. They are being freed as a goodwill gesture to Abbas before he meets Wednesday with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to discuss an upcoming Mideast peace conference.

A senior Fatah official in the West Bank, Hussein al-Sheikh, said Israel should free 11,000 other jailed Palestinians.

Wednesday's meeting will be the sixth for the Mr. Abbas and Mr. Olmert in recent months. Israeli officials said Olmert will host Abbas at sukkah at the prime minister's Jerusalem home. They are set to discuss a joint statement to be issued at a U.S.-sponsored conference, scheduled for November. At their last meeting, on September 10th, the men established negotiating teams to work on the statement's wording.

But Abbas repeated a call Sunday for the conference to have a clear agenda that tackles the status of Jerusalem, Palestinian refugees and final borders. Olmert has said he wants a more general declaration of principles.

President Bush has said he hopes the conference will start a full resumption of peace talks leading to the creation of a Palestinian state alongside Israel.

Report: Israel Unhappy with U.S. Plan for Iran

By Israel Faxx News Services

The United States reportedly has a plan for attacking Iran, but Israel considers it insufficient. The Bush administration this summer revived a long-standing contingency plan for military strikes against Iran with a view to retaliating for Tehran's support for the Iraqi insurgency, the New Yorker magazine reported in its latest edition.

According to correspondent Seymour Hersh, the plan was shared with U.S. allies including Israel, which raised objections to the relative lack of Iranian nuclear facilities on a target roster that instead focused on military training camps.

But Hersh quoted a former U.S. official as saying that Israel was reassured "that the more limited target list would still serve the goal of counter-proliferation by decapitating the leadership of the Revolutionary Guards, who are believed to have direct control over the nuclear-research program."

All Dems but Clinton Oppose Iran Measure

By Israel Faxx News Services

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) was the lone Democratic presidential candidate to support a Senate amendment that described Iran's Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist entity.

The non-binding amendment to the Defense Authorization Act, initiated by U.S. Sens. Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn.) and John Kyl (R-Ariz.), passed Sept. 26 by a vote of 76-22. It said the Revolutionary Guards was responsible for some of the insurgent attacks against U.S.-led forces in Iraq and urged the Bush administration to name the group as a terrorist entity, a designation that would severely restrict the Guards to function in world markets. Bush is believed to be considering such a designation; it would be the first time the label has been applied to a wing of the armed forces of a sovereign nation.

In order to gain an overwhelming majority, Lieberman agreed to remove two paragraphs from the amendment's original language that called for a U.S. policy to "combat, contain and roll back" the Guards inside Iraq and to "support the prudent and calibrated use of instruments of United States national power in Iraq" to do so. Democrats felt that language came too close to endorsing war, even in a non-binding amendment.

The change won the support of Clinton, a front-runner in the race for her party's presidential candidacy. Two other Democratic presidential candidates voted against it: Sens. Joe Biden (D-Del.) and Chris Dodd (D-Conn.). Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) was absent from the vote, but later said he would have voted against it.

Clinton came under fire at a Sept. 26 debate for her vote from other candidates, including former senators Mike Gravel of Alaska and John Edwards of North Carolina and Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio). "I have no intention of giving George Bush the authority to take the first step on a road to war with Iran," Edwards said, commending Biden and Dodd for their votes against the amendment.

Unleashing Muslim Arab Killers on the Israeli People

By Emanuel A. Winston (Commentary)

Once again Israel's Prime Minister Ehud Olmert unleashed a gang of 90 terrorists who had been safely restricted to prison for attacks and planned attacks on Jews in Israel. There is no longer any doubt that, upon release, most terrorists go right back to their terrorist organizations to kill and plan for more killing. Usually, they have utilized (or been used) by the terrorists already in prison to learn new techniques for killing and/or indoctrination.

Olmert promised solemnly that none of this new batch of pardoned Muslim Arab Palestinians had "blood on his hands" but many were responsible for hundreds of Israeli deaths at the peak of Arafat's wars of terror. Israeli security forces were astonished that U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and her team okayed the release of terrorists - including the financier of Arafat's terror operation, Rakad Mahoud Salameh, (aka "Abu Mahmoud") a key aide of Saddam Hussein who was ousted by the American military.

Olmert has been aware of this for years and yet he chose to release these killers as his personal gamble with the lives of Israeli men, women and children. Olmert has made his choice of who his friends are and who are his enemies - who are his people and who is his newly adopted tribe. Clearly, he has chosen the Muslim Arab Palestinians and their current leader, Mahmoud Abbas). He has determined to make war on his own people but then again, perhaps they were never his people.

Would righteous and smart politicians release killers if they thought they might also have to pay the price of what the released killers would do? Olmert is said to make this "gesture" for the Muslims' holiday of Ramadan. The "coincidence" of these days also being the High Jewish holidays from Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot and Simchat Torah means nothing to him.

This gratuitous release of attempted murderers and planners of murderous terror attacks was supposed to elevate Abbas in the eyes of his Muslim Arab Palestinians. The problem is that Olmert sold the lives of his own people for this brief, dangerous and meaningless "gesture" to please and appease President Bush and Secretary Condoleezza Rice before the November surprise lynching of Israel by Washington. (The site of the proposed lynching may be Annapolis, Maryland - to be confirmed.) Olmert betrayed his people, his position as Prime Minister and his nation - even to becoming a co-conspirator to what he knew would lead to murder by releasing the killers.

It a shame that politicians who deliberately sacrifice their own people are not judged and, if found guilty, jailed like any common murderer.

Olmert was never much of a man, let alone an honest man. Too bad there are many "Olmerts" floating around the politics of Israel. They are attracted like flies to garbage. The garbage of politics is power, money status. Once in office, these low-lifes are accorded a respect they do not deserve. Once in office they can cut under-the-table deals which should put them in jail but, they are smart enough to appoint protectors in offices like the Attorney-General, high level officers in the police - all to impede any investigations in case they are caught with their hand in various cookie jars.

Why do you think Olmert appointed Winograd to investigate Olmert's failure to effectively conduct the Lebanon/Hizbullah War of July-August 2006?

Why do you think Winograd has refused to issue his final report and conclusions of his investigation which was completed months ago?

Why do you think the Police and Attorney-General Meni Mazuz have waited so long to investigate and indict Olmert for his role in the Bank Leumi swindle - or Olmert's fraudulent purchases of his apartment, land for investment and other schemes as yet hidden?

Why aren't many others in Olmert's Kadima Party in prison right now but, are free because they have friends in high places to protect them?

Why is Shimon Peres Israel's latest president when he is "suspected" of many nefarious and dangerous schemes against Israel - particularly those planned with other nations - like Oslo?

Releasing killers - or those who planned killings - or those who paid the killers or their families, makes Israel's current politicians co-conspirators in terror who should be thoroughly investigated, indicted, tried and, if found guilty, punished appropriately.

The obstacle preventing such justice is the very Leftist Supreme Court in Israel who long ago lost their moral compass and right to judge anyone.

Like other appointees in office to protect the twisted and crooked politicians, the High Court is impotent and owes its allegiance to the radical political Left in Israel.

Like Olmert, they are also at war with the Jewish people and wish to de-Judaize their own selves and the Land which God gave to the Jewish people in perpetuity. If not, why are they punishing the pioneering settlers, their young children and elderly grandparents for building up the Land, making it green and protesting the destruction of Jewish homes, farms, schools, businesses, synagogues, their cemeteries and even the Jewish Temple Mount?

As in all warped societies, there are good politicians but, today they are in the minority. Even Israel's vaunted military has been misused to make war against its own people. If Jewish soldiers protest evicting Jewish settlers, they are punished mercilessly.

Clearly, it is time to light a candle and ask HaShem to carry out His Judgment against these corrupt, crooked and non-Jewish Jews now in power in Israel who have manipulated our sworn Muslim Arab enemies to kill, maim and destroy us.

Syria's Assad: Israeli Warplanes Hit 'Unused Military Building'

By VOA News

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has said in an interview that Israeli warplanes attacked what he said was an "unused military building" in Syria last month and that his country reserves the right to retaliate.

It was the first public comment by the Syrian leader about the Israeli air raid on September sixth. Assad told the British Broadcasting Corporation; in the interview broadcast Monday that the air strike shows what he alleged was Israel's "visceral antipathy towards peace."

Syria said Israeli aircraft violated its airspace and dropped munitions. There are unconfirmed reports that the Israeli planes carried out a secret strike on a Syrian nuclear facility.

Assad said Syria has different means to retaliate for the Israeli air strike, including political options. He said that retaliation does not mean "missile for missile and bomb for bomb."

He also said Syria would not attend a U.S.-sponsored Mideast conference planned for November unless it addresses Syria's demand for a return of the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, captured by Israel in the 1967 Mideast war. Assad said his government needs further clarification about the agenda of the conference before deciding whether to attend.

The United States has called for a conference to revive the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, and has said it plans to invite Syria and other Arab nations.
